Night was slowly fading away,
Darkness was subsiding to its end..

A faint hint of light was struggling to rear its head,
To make bright what is dead..

We, struggling to find our pace,
Amidst the rocky terrain and the hostile maze..

Bodies grudgingly dragging forward and up,
Hoping to end the trudge..

The view at the top is one to savour,
The effort all the while is worth the flavour..

Besides the beauty of nature,
Mind pales in comparison to the vastness..

Once in a while far away from the usual,
Seeing is believing.
